Affiliate Tracking

Affiliate tracking records clicks and conversions from your Highcovery deeplinks in your Shopify store.

A customer clicks a deeplink in the Highcovery app
The tracking script on your store captures the click ID (hc_cid)
When the customer places an order, the click ID is sent via webhook to Highcovery
The conversion is recorded and commission is calculated

For affiliate tracking to work, the following must be set up:

Shopify connection — Your store must be connected via the Highcovery app. See Shopify for setup.
Theme extension — The tracking scripts must be enabled in your Shopify theme. See Theme Extension for setup.
Active affiliate contract — You need an active affiliate contract in your Highcovery dashboard.

If your tracking status shows as inactive, check the following:

Check your connection

Go to Connections in your dashboard and verify that your Shopify store is connected and verified.

Check theme extension

Make sure the Highcovery Affiliate block is enabled in your Shopify theme under App Embeds.

Verify connection

Click Verify connection on the Integration page to run a manual check.

The connection is checked automatically every hour. If the check fails, your tracking will be paused until the connection is verified again.
