A deep link is the target URL a product promotion in the Highcovery app links to — usually the product page in your online store. When a user taps your promoted product in the app, they are redirected to this URL and the click is recorded for your affiliate tracking.

URLs per language

You set the target URL per language. The app automatically picks the URL that matches the user’s language:
  • A user browsing the app in French opens the French URL.
  • If no URL is set for the user’s language, the URL of your original language is used as a fallback.
Always link directly to the product page (including https://), not to your home page — customers land on the product without detours.

Variants with their own target

If a product has variants, say 10 ml and 30 ml, each gets its own target URL. In the overview you expand them below the product and maintain each one separately. Someone tapping the 30 ml bottle in the app then lands on that size directly instead of having to pick it again. The product itself keeps its own deep link without a variant selection.
If your products arrive through a connection, variant targets are pre-filled during the sync. Anything you entered yourself is kept.

Click tracking

Every click on a deep link is recorded and shows up under Recent activity on your affiliate page. The click ID (hc_cid) is appended on redirect — if the visit leads to an order, it becomes a conversion with commission. See Affiliate Tracking for the details.
Tracking requires an active affiliate contract and active tracking in your store.
Besides your products, your shop itself has a target: it applies when someone taps your shop in the app or redeems one of your coupons. You maintain it under Affiliate → Shop → Shop promotional link. If the field stays empty, the website from your master data is used. It may differ from the website shown in the app, for example a campaign page. The click ID is appended on click, exactly as for a product.
