# Delivery Areas

> How to manage your delivery areas

## What are delivery areas?

Delivery areas define the geographic regions where your stores operate and your products are available. You can assign delivery areas to both stores and products to control where they are visible in the app.

## Manage your delivery areas

### Add a new delivery area

To add a new delivery area, navigate to `Settings` in the sidebar and click on `Delivery Areas`. Then click the button `Add delivery area`.

A side panel will open with the following fields:

| Field | Description |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Country** | The country for this delivery area |
| **Name** | A name to identify this delivery area |

### Edit a delivery area

In your delivery areas overview, click on the three dots menu and select `Edit delivery area`.

### Remove a delivery area

To remove a delivery area permanently from your account, click on the three dots menu and select `Remove delivery area`.

## Using delivery areas

Once you have created delivery areas, you can assign them to:

### Stores

When creating or editing a store, you can select which delivery areas the store serves. See [Stores](/dashboard/stores) documentation.

### Products

When creating or editing a product, you can select which delivery areas the product is available in. See [Products](/dashboard/products) documentation.

<Tip>Create your delivery areas first before setting up stores and products, so you can assign them right away.</Tip>
